Upon successful completion, participants receive a Statement of Attainment in SITXFSA101 Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety & SITXFSA201 Participates in Safe Food Handling Practices as partial completion of SIT30707 Certificate III in Hospitality. Participants will also receive a NSW Food Authority Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) certificate.
This course is delivered under a partnership agreement with Training Course Professionals (RTOID:91118). Certificates are issued by Training Course
Professionals.
Food Safety Supervisor Group Training
We deliver Food Safety Supervisor training for groups in our Sydney Training Centre or we can come to you and provide in house training at your location. Group bookings require a minimum of 10 people but if you’re just short of that number then please call us as we’ll do our best to meet your needs.
Food Safety Supervisor Course Details
NSW Food Safety Regulations require certain hospitality business in NSW to have a designated Food Safety Supervisor responsible for implementing safe food handling on the premises.
To become a qualified Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) the participant must complete two units of competency form the nationally recognised Certificate II in Hospitality Operation:
Unit 1 – SITXFSA101 Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety
Unit 2 – SITXFSA201 Participates in Safe Food Handling Practices
Students must be 14 years old on the day of course completion. Students to provide a pen and note pad and wear comfortable clothing and bring a form of Photo ID. If an invoice is required please contact Training Aid Australia’s head office.

There are no prerequisites for participants to complete prior to enrolment. Students must be 14 years old on the day of course completion.
