Fire Warden training course is delivered and statement of attainment is issued by Training Aid Australia Pty Ltd (RTO No 91411).
Training Aid Australia is accredited by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver this training course and meets the Australian Standards AS 3745 and AS 4083.
Operate as Part of an Emergency Control Organisation (Fire Warden) training is required for:
- Members of an Emergency Control Organisation (ECO), including floor or area wardens and deputy wardens
- Beneficial for those responsible for the safety of occupants and visitors during emergencies in facilities

- Undertake pre-emergency planning
- Take appropriate actions in an emergency
- Assist with post-emergency activities

What will you learn
Fire Warden training covers:
- Ability to access and implement facility emergency response procedures
- Capability to carry out safety practices and respond to emergency signals and warnings
- Proficiency in managing emergency situations and supporting post-emergency activities
- Chief Fire Warden training course consists of PowerPoint presentation, classroom and practical activities, videos and end of the day assessment
Identification
Participants MUST provide one form of photo I.D. (e.g. passport, Australian driverโs licence, proof of age card, student card).
STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED
if participants do not provide a valid form of I.D.
Attendance
Participants should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time of the course to complete the necessary registration paperwork.
ENTRY TO THE COURSE WILL BE REFUSED
if participants arrive 15 minutes after the scheduled starting time.
LLN (Language, Literacy and Numeracy)
The basic understanding, reading and writing of English is required.
As part of our pre-training review all students are required to complete an LLN assessment to determine a studentโs eligibility for enrolment into their selected course.
All students enrolling into any Edway Training courses must have LLN skills to do simple calculations, understand English well enough to be able to read, write, and provide verbal responses to questions in English to undertake training and assessment in any of our courses.

USI (Unique Student Identifier)
From 1 January 2015, every student who undertakes nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Australia is required to have a USI.
